Friends of Derby House, Charlotte and Derry have been putting the Derby House Evolution Recycled PFC Free 0g Turnout Rug to the test, here’s what they had to say…
A few months ago, Derby House very kindly sent Derry another one of their fantastic rugs. He received The Derby House Evaluation recycled PFC lightweight combo Rug.
Derry is a big boy standing at 17hh and Being IDxTb he is fairly chunky especially his chest, this makes rugs difficult to fit him but not Derby House rugs! They’re so easily adjustable that they offer the perfect fit for Derry and any other horse. Derby House rugs are designed to fit a wide variety of horses of different shapes and sizes. The rugs have been developed to fit varying chest sizes with adjustable neck fastenings to achieve that optimum fit. With the rug being made from an eco friendly waterproofing, it means it is mud resistant which I can 100% vouch for! Derry’s rug still looks brand new. In fact, all his Derby House rugs do. Benny loves the mud and his Derby House rug also still looks so clean due to the eco friendly coating.
I absolutely love how this rug is made from recycled plastic (over 110 plastic bottles in fact!) and how Derby House as a brand are doing everything they can do to help the environment whilst still producing the best rugs of the market. As part of their commitment to the environment, they have also removed the plastic windows from their reusable rug packaging and everything in the packaging is Recyclable.

Overall I cannot recommend Derby House enough! All of their products are such amazing quality, but I really cannot speak highly enough on their rugs. They are amazing quality and Eco Friendly what more could you want?

They are harmful to the environment and can escape into the atmosphere during production. Instead, this rug is coated with an eco-friendly alternative and offers even better waterproofing performance than standard horse rugs.
